Dr. Nana Achiaa Ankrah, a Pharmacist and an Agrofood Expert has underscored the need for families to serve breakfast as a necessary condition to enhance the immune system, in order to maintain their bodies sin good health.
According to her, breakfast is very significant for aiding healthy living, but it is usually taken for granted by ignoring it, resulting in some form of deficiencies especially in children.
Dr. Nana Achiaa Ankrah, CEO of Arise Foods Limited underpinned that, breakfast is considered as the most important meal of the day, because it prevents some diseases including type ‘2’ diabetes and heart diseases.
She stressed that, consuming a safe and high quality multigrain cereal meal filled with the best nutritional values helps in curbing malnutrition among children.
Eating cereal meals for breakfast should be enriched with nutrients such as iron, calcium, zinc, protein in order to help support overall immune health by contributing to normal growth and development in children.

Dr. Nana Achiaa Ankrah mentioned that breakfast improves concentration, alertness, comprehension, memory and learning which aims at performing well in school and at work.
