Afua Asantewaa named Brand Ambassador for Crystal Galaxy Group

Ghanaian Entrepreneur, Afua Asantewaa Aduonum, who recently attempted the Guinness World Record for Longest Singing Marathon has been announced as Brand Ambassador for Crystal Galaxy Group of companies.
Crystal Galaxy Group, an indigenous Ghanaian business based in Accra, is involved in diverse sectors, including real estate, aviation, media, shipping, hospitality Management, logistics and more.
As part of the Ambassadorial deal, she was offered 30 scholarship slots for students of Breman Essiam, where she was recently enstooled as Nana Afua Asantewaa Anomatewaa I, the Development Queenmother (Nkosuohemaa).
Addressing patrons at the launch on Thursday, August 15, 2024, at the CLOGSAG Auditorium in Accra, Dr. Isaac Ankomah, the CEO of Crystal Galaxy Group, emphasized the company’s dedication to supporting the education and career prospects of young people.
Against this backdrop he was optimistic that their collaboration with Afua Asantewaa would go a long way to help them achieve this objective.
Dr. Ankomah stated, “This initiative aligns with our mission to foster long-term success within our communities by investing in the education and development of the next generation.”
He said as part of an effort to increase their reach and impact, currently they have branches in Liberia, Kenya, Nigeria and UK, adding that there are a lot of branches coming up in the near future.
Speaking at the event, Afua Santewaa said, as a Women Empowerment advocate, she was happy that Crystal Galaxy College had more young ladies enrolled.
She expressed her appreciation to them for offering her 30 scholarship slots for students of Breman Essiam.
Afua Asantewaa noted that this opportunity would further impact the lives of these lucky students.
“This scholarship program represents more than just financial aid; it embodies hope, opportunity, and the belief that education is a key driver for change,” she remarked.
She expressed her appreciation to the company for the confidence reposed in her to drive and champion conversations around the business.

The talented 16 contestants have been unveiled at a grand ceremony held at the Tang Palace Hotel in Accra last Saturday.
These finalists made the cut following gruelling auditions in November 2024, where young women from across the country showcased their beauty, intelligence, and passion for service.
According to the organisers, the search is for a queen who exemplifies selflessness, intelligence, discipline, and dedication to societal service.
The contestants will go through calculated weekly tasks ahead of the highly anticipated grand finale on March 29, 2025.
Each contestant will now represent their respective regions as they compete for the prestigious Miss Ghana 2025 crown.
Organised by Exclusive Events Ghana and Miss Ghana Foundation, the Miss Ghana pageant is more than just a beauty competition.
As part of the modalities, the winner will not only represent Ghana on the global stage at Miss World but will also lead charitable initiatives under the Miss Ghana Foundation, focusing on supporting vulnerable communities.
The contestants expressed their readiness to prove their mettle in the competition for the ultimate.

The air is electric in Ghana’s music scene as the long-anticipated nominee announcement for the 26th Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA) is nearly here.
Music lovers should mark their calendars for Saturday, March 15, when the nominees will be revealed live on TV3 and across the Ghana Music Awards official social media channels.
This year’s nominations promise to be some of the most competitive yet. After weeks of submissions and meticulous deliberations, music fans across the country will finally learn which artists and groups will be contending for the highly coveted awards.
The Road to the Nominees Announcement
It all began on January 21, 2025, when nominations officially opened for the TGMA. Artists and groups had until 16th February to submit their works released between January 1, and December 31, 2024.
The response was nothing short of phenomenal, with over 1,500 entries pouring in from more than 130 talented artists and groups—a true testament to the dynamic and ever-growing nature of Ghana’s music industry.
The Deliberation Process
Once the deadline passed, an expert panel of industry insiders and stakeholders rolled up their sleeves for the daunting task of sifting through the entries.
The review process was thorough, with each submission evaluated based on a set of specific criteria to ensure only the most deserving artists and groups made it onto the shortlist.
The final selections were validated by the TGMA board and key industry players, ensuring transparency and fairness every step of the way.
The Big 5 Categories: The Showstoppers
While every category brings its own set of thrills, the Big 5 awards are the ultimate crown jewels. These prestigious categories will be revealed live on TV3 on Saturday, 15th March, it includes; Record of the Year, Album of the Year, Telecel Most Popular Song, New Artiste and Artiste of the Year.
